General & Cosmetic Dentistry
The impacts of COVID-19 ( also known as Coronavirus ) continue to evolve across Queensland, Australia and the rest of the globe.
At Gold Coast Smiles we take the safety of our staff and patients very seriously. Challenging times such as this mean we need to take even greater care to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers.
We will remain vigilant in following the guidelines from Queensland Health and the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and will act immediately on any direction provided with regards to operating our practice.
At this stage we are open for business and working to ensure all our patients have access to emergency and regular dental care.
We have strict infection control standards for procedures which provide surety for the health and wellbeing of all patients. You can feel comfortable that you are in an extremely clean and sterile environment.
Extra measures have been implemented to screen all patients before entering the practice. This includes the following questions at the time of making an appointment.
If any of the answers are ‘yes’ or someone has experienced any of the symptoms listed, we kindly ask that they refrain from attending the practice for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and patients.
Our appointments are set with a minimum of 10 minutes between patients to guarantee a thorough clean of all areas of the practice. This includes all common areas, surfaces, door handles, chairs and bathrooms.
Patients will also now rinse with 1% hydrogen peroxide solution before each appointment as an extra precaution.
Thank you for your understanding and helping to keep Gold Coast Smiles and fellow patients safe, and for supporting our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the practice on (07) 5576 6050.
